Regional Runways Inc. a local multicultural organisation announces a new partnership with the City of Greater Geelong at the city’s upcoming in Dressing Geelong at the Yarra Street Window Gallery, delivered as part of Geelong Fashion Fortnight and Paypal’s Melbourne Fashion Festival.
Regional Runways Inc., a local multicultural organisation rooted in Geelong that empowers women from diverse backgrounds, has partnered with the City of Greater Geelong to deliver “Dressing Geelong” at the Yarra Street Window Gallery during Geelong Fashion Fortnight (14 – 28 Feb 2026), and with two of our designers represented we’ll be showcasing West African design aesthetics alongside rich Afghan and Indian embroidery in an open‑air runway that celebrates the creativity and craftsmanship of local contemporary fashion designers.
Passers‑by can enjoy distinctive, hand‑made garments and locally designed pieces while discovering the bold ideas and personal stories behind each creation. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to making art and design accessible: the City’s 24‑hour gallery celebrates Geelong’s vibrant style culture and supports its vision as a UNESCO City of Design, while Regional Runways champions multicultural designers and fosters community connection. Together, they invite everyone to experience the creativity and craftsmanship that make Geelong’s fashion scene shine.
